This is a big rock in Manhattan. For the life of me I can't figure out why it is allowed to take up so much space.

I saw that rock every day while i was going to st. hilda's, further down 114th st. a little bit of fundamental manhattan bedrock that was too tough to be eradicated by "progress"...
