The top quilt is an expanded Carpenter's Wheel. Piecing the outer ring without a pattern was trying and required help from my husband. He has a good eye for design placement, but even he was stumped for a day. The second picture is a utility type quilt top. Made from scraps and pieced in between major projects while I waited for some inspiration.
